This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all services provided by RiverCity Internet Group, LLC and any and all subsidiaries (collectively, “RCIG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including colocation, web hosting, dedicated servers, virtual private servers, email services, and related offerings.
By using our services, you agree to abide by this AUP. Failure to comply with this policy may result in suspension or termination of your services without prior notice.
1. Prohibited Uses
1.1 Illegal Activities
You may not use RCIG’s services to engage in activities that violate any applicable laws, regulations, or treaties.
1.2 Malicious Conduct
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
•Hosting or distributing malware, viruses, ransomware, or other malicious software.
•Launching or participating in denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks.
•Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other systems, networks, or accounts.
1.3 Spam and Unsolicited Emails
Sending unsolicited commercial email (“spam”) is strictly prohibited. If your use of RCIG services results in an IP address being blacklisted, you are responsible for paying a $50.00 IP cleanup fee per affected IP address.
2. Abuse Handling and Reporting
2.1 Abuse Complaints
RCIG will forward abuse complaints we receive to the responsible Client.
2.2 Resolution Timeframe
Clients are required to resolve abuse complaints within 24 hours. Failure to do so may result in service suspension or termination.
2.3 Network Integrity
Clients are expected to ensure their usage does not disrupt RCIG’s network or impair other Clients’ services.
3. Enforcement
RCIG reserves the right to:
•Investigate suspected violations of this AUP.
•Suspend or terminate services for violations.
•Charge additional fees for damages caused to RCIG’s infrastructure, including but not limited to IP cleanup fees.
4. Reporting Violations
